Here's part two of the interview I did with Greg Boyd over his book The Myth of a Christian Nation.
If you haven't listened to part one, take a listen to that first.
Great stuff.
Thanks to Deadspin for the photo.
I was digging back through the archives of old podcasts I recorded when Wired Parish was alive. I thought I would post some of the Best Of. Here's a wonderful interview I did with Greg Boyd.
Everything I've read from Greg is outstanding, and I can't recommend The Myth of a Christian Nation enough. It's an extremely interesting and challenging read. You'd do well to pick it up.
When I read Greg's stuff and hear his sermons, I wish I could still believe. That's another story for another time, of course, but regardless of your faith persuasion, this interview is more than worth your time.
Enjoy!

Cling Sheets are dry erase sheets that stick to virtually any surface via a static charge or magic. I'm not certain which.
They work equally well with dry erase or permanent markers.Just slap 'em on the wall and let your kids go nuts.I saw these in action today. They. Are. Awesome. You can order them here. From Seth Godin:
'Why you? Why now? That's really the only questions between you and a sale.If someone is going to buy from you, is it because you're the cheapest? That's a hard thing to maintain. There better be a more sustainable reason than that.
If they're going to by from you today, is it because you're in proximity, the closest, the one source that can satisfy the itch they happen to have? It's a little like being a peanut vendor at the ball game. You need a big crowd and you have to give up a big share of your income in exchange for being in the right place at the right time.
The goal is to create an offering that can answer these two questions. Why from you and why right now...
Most businesses that struggle are unable to answer these two questions in a compelling fashion. They act as though they deserve that sale, or that they need to aggressively close so you'll buy today, instead of working to build in these very elements to the product itself.'
Stewart normally directs his dressings down toward right-leaning public figures, but this clip shows him dismantling a Keith Olbermann diatribe against newly-elected Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown.
Very funny stuff. And for those of you keeping score at home, Stewart does a great job of reinforcing the fact that calling people names is a low-brow, classless way to engage in debate.
