Best Road Sign Ever

I drove through rural Missouri yesterday. I passed three of these signs in the span of 5 miles or so--along with 10 or 12 Amish farmhouses. I'm driving back through tonight, and I'm a bit nervous about hitting a buggy in the dark.

For the record, I took one for the team to get this photo. Turns out there's quite a lot of horse what not on the side of the road in this area.

If the Children Are Our Future, This Is a Bad Sign (Photo)

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the 4ish year old girl is wearing a Hooters tshirt.

You can't tell from the picture, but it's autographed.

Two words: Classy.

Update: I ended up on the elevator with them. I whistled 'The Greatest Love of All' while they were with me.

Hard Rock Casino Fail

Yeah, but it's not actually an iPod...

Bono Is the Walrus

I watched 'Across the Universe' this week. How did none of my friends FORCE me to watch this movie sooner?

I pressed pause and bought the soundtrack halfway through watching it. If you have any love for the Beatles--nay, any love for music--you must buy this soundtrack immediately. Not the 15 track one. No, sir. The 31 track deluxe edition. (In large part so you can get Eddie Izzard's track.)

And if you're on the fence about whether or not to watch the movie or buy the soundtrack, this little clip of Bono singing 'I Am the Walrus' ought to change your mind.

As much as I love my parents, I do spend my nights wishing I were Bono's love child.

Quentin Tarantino, a Japanese Talking Dog and Great Cell Phone Rates

So I'm looking for a video I saw years ago. Tarantino is a guest on a talk show (Conan, maybe?). The topic is the appropriate length of a man's bathrobe. Other guests chime in with quasi-normal views, but then Tarantino steps to the plate with a frenzied, ultra-detailed monologue that concludes with a description of a guy wearing a kimono with a big elfing dragon on the back while he's grocery shopping. I was mesmerized.

Hadn't though of the clip in years, but when it popped into my head, I went to the Googleverse to see what I could find.

Alas, the clip was nowhere to be found, but I did run across this little slice of glory courtesy of 901am.com.

I have absolutely no idea what anyone is saying, but I like it that way. My guess is that my enjoyment of the commercial would go down significantly if I actually spoke Japanese.

Enjoy!

An MP3 of Mustard Singing Radiohead's 'Creep'

Here's the MP3 to Mustard the Homless Guy singing 'Creep.' Thought you might like to download it. Thom Yorke would be quite proud.

Amazing Acoustic Version of Radiohead's 'Creep' by Mustard the Homeless Guy

I'm not quite sure how Mustard the homeless guy ended up in Opie and Anthony's studio singing 'Creep,' but I'm glad he did. This is brilliant.

I couldn't help but be melancholy after watching this. It's a reminder of the fact that incredibly talented people can still find themselves on the outside of society looking in.

Be Tee Dub, it's the unedited version, so make sure your speakers are down if you're watching this in a G-rated environment.

Church Logo Fail

I snapped a picture of this little gem when I was home in Louisiana a couple of weeks ago.
